  • Organza silk must be handled with extra care as they are very delicate in nature, they can be stored in a cool dry place covered by pure cotton thin fabric and one must open and refold the sarees once in 2-3 months to preserve the saree.
  • Organza Silk can over time become weak if not used or refolded; alternatively one can open and refold the sarees once in 2-3 months to preserve the saree .
  • Do not let your dry cleaned Organza Silk stay wrapped in plastic too long. Silks need to breathe.
  • While choosing to iron ensure the knob of the iron is set at around 1-2 on a scale of 7.
  • It’s a good idea to test the iron temperature on a small scrap or inconspicuous corner of the fabric first or iron on reverse side to avoid damage to block print.
  • Even with the appropriate temperature, some fabrics need the extra protection of a press cloth. You can use a large cotton handkerchief or any scrap of plain cotton.
