Select the items you wish to purchase and add to your Shopping Bag and proceed to check out once you have selected all the products you wish to purchase. If you do not proceed to check out, your chosen items will be kept in your basket for 30 minutes, after which your basket will expire.

Shipping within India is free and shipping for any international address outside India would be at an additional charge depending on the weight and destination address. The order page will calculate the shipping charges before you place the order. Please note the destination custom duties vary from country to country and such duty chanrges are to be borne by recipient. In the order placed with Sakhifashions, you are only paying for freight.

Once you have confirmed the shipping charge and completed payment, your order will be confirmed. Shortly after you have placed an order with, you will receive an email which will confirm and summarize your order. You can then view the status of your order by logging into your account and selecting either My Delivery or My Account /Order History. Once payment has been confirmed, you will be unable to make any further changes to your order.

Do all Sakhi sarees come with a matching blouse?

              Yes, All Sakhi creations sarees come with matching blouse fabric i.e unstitched.  

    Can you custom stitch blouse for me?

    Yes, we can custom stitch blouses for you as per measurement supplied by you. In the product page, you can specify your blouse measurements. You can also select from a number of blouse design options.    

    What are the standar size of the saree and blouse?

    Sakhi sarees measure a minimum of 5.5 mtrs in width and 42inches in height. The width of the blouse piece is around 0.8 mtrs. In case of Kanchivaram silk sarees, as the panna of Height is more than 42inch the width of blouse will be between 0.65 to 0.70 mtrs

    What is a Saree Finishing Package?

    The Saree Finishing Package includes a) a custom stitched saree blouse, b) a matching petticoat as per your measurements and c) saree fall application and pico edge finishing. We request the customer to provide us the detailed measurements in the prescribed format. Our expert tailors will take care of the rest. Alternately you can also send us a sample blouse with a note on any changes to the size and style. Your sample blouse will be returned to you along with your new custom stitched saree blouse. We also keep a record of your size/style details for future orders.

    Please note that this service is valid only when you purchase a saree from Sakhi. The custom blouse and petticoat will take typically 10 working days to execute.


    What are the countries to which ships to and what are the charges?

    We are happy to announce shipping within India is a completely free. ships to most locations worldwide. The shipping charge will be based on weight of the product and destination address. The charges can be calculated on the Shopping bag page. The shipping charges are also displayed when you check out before you actually make your payment.

    We have tied up with internationally reputed logistics companies to ensure safe and timely delivery.

    How soon can you deliver the package?

    We are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and always on time. Domestic Delivery within India is normally made within 3-4 working days and international delivery will normally take 10-15 days.
    In case any customized finishing packages like Fall & Pico, Saree Petticoat, or Custom saree blouse stitching, it can take an additional 2 to 15 days depending on the complexity of design.

    Do you ship by reliable Logistics/Shipping services ?

    We use the services of Internationally well known shipping services like Fedex. The shipping is generally very good and we have extremely few cases of mishandling. However it is always good to be careful. All packages are sealed and sent. In the most unlikely case of finding any tampering of the packaging, please do not accept delivery. Report such problem immediately to us and the logistics company. It will be useful if you could send us a picture of the package in such situations.

    How can I Track My order status ?

    For all shipments sent by we send tracking link and a unique shipment code or Airway Bill Number (AWB). You can know the complete status by viewing the details online.

    What happens if no one takes delivery of the shipment ?

    We urge our customers to be aware of the shipment dispatched by as email alerts are sent immediately. Packages can get lost if not collected in a timely manner and will not take responsibility for the same.

    For international clients speedy reply must be provided to any queries and the person must be present to collect the package. If it is sent back to Indian unclaimed the goods will have to be abandoned due to customs and other issues and a replacement cannot be provided.

    Can a representative of customer directly take delivery of the online order in the store ?

    Yes. You can get your on-line order picked up from our store in Bangalore instead of getting it shipped. Bangalore being our back office, for picking up in Hyderabad you will have to give an additional two days. You can inform us by mail your desire to pick up in person.

    • Sakhi offers 30 days replacement guarantee for all products sold on Customers may notify us of any damage or defect within 2-3 days from the date of delivery.
    • Items must be in like-new condition and unworn to be accepted as a return.

    • We will refund 95% of the product cost in case the customer has availed our free shipping facility (within India). In case the customer has not availed the free shipping facility (outside India), the actual shipping charge will be deducted and the rest of the purchase value will be refunded to the customer.
    • In case the purchase involved custmisation charges like Fall Pico stitching or Custom Blouse stitching, such charges will not be refunded.
    • We will refund the amount by same mode of payment as used during checkout. Refunds for Direct Deposit cannot be made as credit vouchers, which may be adjusted against another purchase of same or higher value.
    • The refund will happen within 30 days of receipt and inspection of the goods.
    • We urge our customers not to accept an incorrect or tampered product.

    What are the modes of payment accepted on

    We accept most credit cards. You will have to follow your credit card company’s process to make a payment. If you are ordering from India, please ensure you have your IPIN ready with you as it is mandatory in India to enter your IPIN number while making a credit card payment online.

    We accept international credit cards and other payment instruments in countries that are supported by Paypal, which currently include - United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong,Singapore, etc.

    Other than Indian Rupees we accept payments in all currencies supported by Paypal.

    How do I pay in other currencies?

    We accept all payments in INR and if you pay in any of the currencies that are supported by Paypal, you will not be charged for any conversion fees. For all other currencies the amount will be converted into US Dollars (for PayPal) and INR (any other mode) and you may be charged a conversion fee. Please check with your credit card provider for more details.

    How often do you release new products?

    We normally release new products every month. If you register your name at Sakhi, we will be glad to keep you posted whenever a new product is posted.     I am new to saree. Can you explain what are the accessories necessary to wear a saree?

    Yes. Surely. First the petticoat. Saree is worn over a petticoat in matching color. Next is Blouse, which is tight upper garment. A blouse typically has short sleeve or may be sleeveless and is usually cropped at midriff. You will wear a high raise or regular footwear along with a saree. A matching clutch makes the accesoories complete. You will get all the accessories necessary for a Saree at    

    Can the products available online be purchased in your physical stores also?

    Yes. All the products sold online are also available in the physical store too. As a matter of fact, you find much more in the physical store.   

    Is there any difference between your online and store prices?

    Our prices are the same whether you buy online or in the store. If to be outside India, the onine purchases will add a nominal shipping charge in actual. 

    How do I order online on ?

    From the home page of, you can follow the steps below:

    Use the tabs on the top of the home page or any other page to select a product category. For example, you can choose and click on Home>Saree, which will show you all the sarees in a series of pages.

    If you are looking for particular type, say Kanchivaram saree, you can choose and click on Home>Saree>Material>Kanchivaram. You will be presented with all out Kanchivaram sarees. 

    We have also provided Filter options that will allow you slelect a) Product category, b) Color, c) Craft, d) Material, e) Theme and f) Price range. This can greatly simplify your product search. 

    You can take the mouse over the product image and zoom into the product and view the product in detail. For some products, we have also provided a video of a model doing a mini walk and turn around do that you can get a good feel of the product. After viewing a particular product you can go back and see many other products by going back to the category pages. 

    As and when you like a product you can decide to add it to the "Shopping Bag" for immediate purchase or add to your "Wish list" for a purchase consideration later. Even when you log out and revisit the Wish list will continue retain your shortlisted products.    

    It is recommended that you register yourself with Sakhi so that your wish list will be remembered and also Sakhi can keep you informed or new products additions and other interesting offers and events. How to register? - Simple. On the top right corner of any Sakhifashions web page, you will find a "Sign In" link. Just clicked on that and give the minimal information asked in the pop-up page.

    Once you have chosen a product before adding to the shopping bag, you must considering the saree finishing package, which includes a petticoat of your size, saree fall and pico services and a custom blouse stitching service. This can make your saree complete.
