Material: Chiffon Silk

This pure silk is a light weight fabric, perfect for an evening out or a sunny summer day. The effervescent chiffon is a light, sheer fabric with a rich shimmer and a mild, granular texture. The twist in the yarn creases the fabric gently in both directions, giving it a slightly textured feel. Sakhi mingles featherlike chiffon with different form of embroidery like Cut work to create stunning sarees.

Craft: Cut Work

Sakhi uses this traditional form of fine needlework to transform modest plain Kanchivaram silk into a modern and trendy ensemble. In this form of embroidery, portions of the background fabric are cut away and the edges worked over. The applications of this craft include bold elaborate pallus with understated borders hand embroidered with cut work, or unique combinations with complementing block prints.

Carft: Hand Embroidery- Diamante Work

A unique form or white coloured stone placement which adds to the saree glamour quotient. The stones are available in numerous colours and sizes. These elements need to placed and secured by careful hands of the artisan and make this saree perfect attire for party or formal occasions. This special Sakhi creation features white coloured Diamond-like stones in Pallu and Blouse.
