The designs on this luxurious silk reflect finely crafted motifs inspired by the temples of Tamil Nadu. With silk thread dipped in liquid gold and silver, these glorious motifs are brought to life by the gifted hands of artisans. Sakhi pays tribute to the age-old tradition of adorning kanchivaram silk, with a contemporary twist that suits the modern woman. The saree is hand woven in a unique style featuring contemporary zari stripes on the mustard body, the pallu and blouse is a contrast deep Maroon. The blouse features Kundan hand embroidery.

A unique form of hand embroidery which involves re-creating heritage jewel motifs adorned by Indian royalty. Colured stones are secured on the fabric then finished with hand embroidery technique called Zardozi work to create an element of luxury that can add glamour and old world charm to a modest saree.
